Upon arrival at Vientiane International Airport, meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel. After check-in, begin a guided city tour of Laos’ relaxed capital.
Visit Vat Sisaket, famous for its thousands of Buddha images, and Vat Phra Keo, once home to the Emerald Buddha. Continue to the iconic Pha That Luang, the most sacred national monument in Laos, followed by the Patuxay Monument, offering panoramic city views.
In the evening, enjoy leisure time along the Mekong River promenade.
Overnight stay in Vientiane.
After breakfast, drive to the famous Buddha Park, located on the banks of the Mekong River near the Thai border. Explore the park’s unique collection of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures.
Later, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Pakse. Upon arrival, meet your local representative and transfer to the hotel.
Enjoy the evening at leisure.
Overnight stay in Pakse.
After breakfast, depart for an excursion to the Bolaven Plateau, known for its cool climate, coffee plantations, and waterfalls.
Visit Tad Fan Waterfall, one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Laos, followed by Tad Yeuang Waterfall, where you may relax or swim.
Continue to a local coffee plantation to learn about coffee cultivation and processing.
Return to Pakse in the evening.
Overnight stay in Pakse.
After breakfast, drive south to visit the UNESCO-listed Wat Phou, a pre-Angkorian temple complex set against a dramatic mountain backdrop.
Continue the journey to Don Khong, the largest island in the 4,000 Islands (Si Phan Don) region. On arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy free time to relax by the Mekong River.
Overnight stay on Don Khong.
After breakfast, explore the 4,000 Islands region by boat and bicycle. Visit Don Khone and Don Det, connected by an old French railway bridge.
See the Liphi Waterfall (Somphamit) near the Cambodia border, followed by the mighty Khone Phapheng Waterfall, the largest waterfall in Southeast Asia.
Return to Don Khong in the late afternoon.
Overnight stay on Don Khong.
After breakfast, drive back to Pakse. On arrival, transfer to Pakse Airport for your onward journey.
