Days Plan
- An early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate (Tak Bath) in the daily morning alms giving ritual to saffron clad monks. This tradition is unique to Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving this procession. From there we continue to visit the local morning to experience of the local food sales. Return to hotel for breakfast.
- Breakfast at hotel then our guide and driver would be meet you at hotel for Luang Prabang sightseeing. We will visit some of the famous temples. Wat Xiengthong, then continue on to the former Royal Palace, a commanding structure in the center of town that until 1946 was the heart of the Lang Xang Kingdom. Today it is the National Museum, and its halls contain rare religious and cultural artefacts.
- We then board an upstream cruise on the Mekong River, which gives us a panoramic view of the tranquil countryside. We’ll make sure to stop at the Pak Ou Caves, sanctuaries consisting of two large caverns, both repositories for thousands of Buddha images. We will also stop at a few villages during the day, including Ban Xanghai where the local rice wine is produced and Ban Xang Khong, where locals produce Saa paper, an autochthonous product of Laos. We climb up to the top of Mount Phousi to explore the sacred, gilded stupa as well as capture a beautiful view of the city and the Mekong River at sunset, we visit the Night Market, where you can browse through a lovely selection of handmade textiles.

- In the morning after your breakfast 8:30AM we will meet you at the hotel then drive to Kao Niaw Farmstay about 45 minutes to join the process of planting and harvesting rice in the rice paddy? Come and spend half a day on our Farm, situated in an idyllic countryside setting surrounded by mountains in the middle of ancient rice terraces.
- Come and let us show you how rice is grown on our farm, experience the life of a rice farmer and try your hand at some of the activities. Or just view it all from the comfort of our Restaurant terrace.
- Meet some real Lao people and Boun Loth our buffalo
- Would you like to see how rice is planted in the rice paddy? You could join our team of rice planters and have a go!
- It is fun, it is educational, hands-on and eco-friendly!
- Come and see how buffaloes are used to plough the rice paddies and try it for yourself!
- We will serve you Lao lunch restaurant and looking to the rice paddy.
- After lunch We visit the stunning Kuang Si Waterfall. The falls cascade over many calcified tiers and down several hundred feet into a series of cool, turquoise pools and enjoy Bear Rescue Center. On the way we will observe the local village Ban Na Ouan. The Hmong tribe and experience their living. Return to Luang Prabang in the late afternoon we will visit Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre, displays of clothing, craft tools, plus religious & ritual objects related to various ethnic groups. Heuan Chan Heritage House, the former of the King guard’s house and now it is exhibition of the Lao traditional tools.
- From there we travel to EMU Train Station for travelling to Vientiane by EMU Train C81 Dep 19:22 – 21:08
- Arrival Vientiane you will meet your guide and driver. Transfer to Hotel for check in. In the afternoon after your short rest, you can explore the capital of Laos sites on your own.

- Today, you have plenty of time to explore the hidden charm of Vientiane with various historic sites including Vat Phra Keo - one of the most impressive and interesting temples in Vientiane, Vat Sisaket - feature beautiful architecture and layout; Pha That Louang - the most important Laotian religious and Patuxay - the most prominent landmark in the city which offers an excellent panoramic view of the city.
- In the afternoon, make your way to the famous Buddha Park - home to hundreds of Buddha statues and an enormous Buddha image which is 40m in length. Take your time to explore its unique statues with different size and shapes of human, Godheads and animals. We will visit COPE Center also to see the help works with thousands of people with mobility-related disabilities, including UXO survivors, access prosthetic and orthotic services, allowing them to regain mobility and dignity. Transfer to the airport. End of service
