Breakfast with at hotel 08:30AM guide and driver would be meet you at the hotel then travel to Hin Boun National Park, which Konglor Cave located about 5-6 hours. The Rock Viewpoint opens the doors to the Phou Hin Boun National Protected Area, an uncharted world of ancient karstic forests, breath-taking views, and endemic wildlife in Central Laos. Immerse yourself in one of the largest limestone forests in all of Asia with a fascinating itinerary of zip lines, spider net and canopy walks. The viewpoint, known as “The Peak of the loop”
On the way we will visit the local traditional house of local people and we will also enter the Phou Hin Poun NPA where you can see the changes in scenery featuring limestone karsts, forests and rice paddies along the way. Arrival Konglor caves transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel
Today we will explore the famous Kong Lor Caves. After a short walk around the main entrance of the cave, you will board a long tail boat to float along an underground section of the HinBoun River with the length of 7.5 km.
As reaching the other side of the cave, you can make refreshment and make your way to local village of Ban Na Tan. After we have done sightseeing, we will return by boat, travelling ‘downstream’ through the cave, to Ban Kong Lor. From there we will transfer to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel
Start your journey early from Ban Kong Lor to the small village of Ban Hatkhai, located at the gateway of Phou Khao Khouay National Protected Area (PKK). From here, travel to another village further into the park and toward Pha Xay village. Upon arrival, we will take a small fishing boat or Car toward a local Luek waterfall where the orchid grows in abundance, and get the chance to take a dip in the water. Wander further along the winding trails and see the many other plants locals use for cooking and traditional medicines, and listen to your guide explain which herbs are used for certain illnesses.
Later, enjoy a picnic in a forest clearing before returning to Ban Hatkhai, a settlement of about 30 farming families that remains an example of traditional Lao village culture. After that we continue travel to Vientiane. The capital of Laos.
