• In the afternoon, enjoy free time to explore Bairro Alto, a lively area full of viewpoints, boutique shops, and cafe s.

After breakfast, depart early from Portugal and drive through the scenic Alentejo region, dotted with olive groves and vineyards. 

Stop for a coffee break in Estremoz, a charming medieval town known for its white marble, castle, and peaceful atmosphere. 

Cross the border into Spain and arrive in Cáceres, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll through its old town, famous for its medieval towers, Renaissance palaces, and stone streets. 

After lunch (on your own), continue to Madrid, arriving by evening.

After breakfast, journey toward Aragon, passing through the heart of Spain’s scenic countryside. Stop in Zaragoza to visit the Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, a magnificent example of Baroque architecture and an important pilgrimage site. 

Continue to Poblet Abbey (entrance included) — one of Europe’s best-preserved medieval monasteries, surrounded by vineyards and tranquil hills. 

Later, proceed to Barcelona, arriving by evening & overnight stay in Barcelona.
