We will welcome you with your name in Kayseri/Nevsehir Airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Early in the morning just before breakfast, try some excitement for the optional Hot Air Balloon experience (Optional). After breakfast, you will start your first full day tour of Cappadocia. Today you will be amazed as you are exploring this UNESCO World Heritage-listed area. -“Goreme National Park and the Rock Sites of Cappadocia”. On this tour you will visit the Goreme Open Air Museum, Uchisar Castle (the highest point in the region), Pasabag Fairy Chimneys, Zelve, Avanos and Esentepe Panorama. Your tour will end approximately at 17.00 and we will drive you back to your hotel in Cappadocia for overnight.
After breakfast at hotel, your second full day tour starts with a visit to Derinkuyu or Kaymakli Underground City, almost 3000-years old labyrinth. You will also visit the beautiful Ihlara Valley, Belisirma Village, Selime Cathedral and Pigeon Valley. At the end of the tour, we will drop you off back at your hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Today we depart from Cappadocia at 8:30 am and proceed to Konya city which takes approximately 3 hrs on the way. On arrival we give a lunch break at a local restaurant, and then visit the museum of the 13th century Philosopher Melvana Celaleddin-i Rumi who used to be the cloister for Mevlevi Dervishes. Mevlana was a philosopher and an Islamic scholar, but not an orthodox Muslim. His doctrine advocated unlimited tolerance, positive reasoning, goodness, charity and awareness through love. To him and to his disciples all religions are more or less true. His views on Muslims, Jews and Christians and his peaceful and tolerant teachings appealed to men of all sects and creeds. After the tour, transfer to Konya airport for your flight.
