This is the most popular tourist market in the world where you will be able to buy souvenirs and gifts for all your beloved people. This market was built during the Mamluks era in the 14th century (tour end at around 04:00 pm) ❖ Overnight in Cairo.
❖ Early morning after breakfast at 07:00 am. ❖ Transfer by A/C vehicle on private basis to Alexandria (Cairo/Alexandria 225 K.M around 02:30 h.) ❖ Full day visits of Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa which are the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock, Ancient Roman Amphitheater (A theater with marble seats up to 800 spectators, Galleries, Section of mosaic flooring & a pleasure garden surrounded by Roman Villas & baths), Pompey’s’ Pillar This 25-meter-high granite column was constructed in honor of the Emperor Diocletian in AD 297, view of Citadel of Qait bay from outside which was built on the site of the ancient pharaohs (Light House) of Alexandria. ❖ After visits transfer back to Cairo. ❖ After breakfast. At 10:00 am Half day visit of Abu Serga Church one of the places where the Holy Family rested after fleeing Israel from King Herod. There are 24 marble columns lining the central court, and a series of 12th century icons depicting the 12 apostles, Hanging Church is built into the walls of the water gate of the Roman fortress and is possibly the oldest Christian church in Egypt. Dedicated to the Virgin Mary, it is one of Cairo's most beautiful churches. Continue to the Monastery and Church of St George This is not an old church, dating from 1909, but there has been a church in Coptic Cairo dedicated to the Martyr since the 10th-century. It is one of the few remaining circular churches in the Middle East and Synagogue Ben Ezra is one of the oldest in Egypt.. Set in a shady garden, it was built on the site of 4th-century Christian church. The synagogue was severely damaged by Arabs after the 1967 war with Israel, but it has been almost completely renovated. (Tour end at around 02:00 pm) ❖ Overnight Cairo
