After breakfast, we explore Vientiane capital by visiting the major sights of the capital; including the oldest Wat Sisaket with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. . En route to Lao’s national precious heritage, the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, you will have the opportunity to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph.
Breakfast at hotel.
After breakfast, head to Phnom Kulen, the most sacred mountain in Cambodia. It was here that the Khmer Empire was born. Marvel at the River of 1000 Lingas, where countless carvings of Shiva Lingas and Hindu deities lie beneath the crystal-clear water. Visit the Reclining Buddha (Preah Ang Thom) and take a refreshing dip in the Kulen Waterfall.
In afternoon, on the return journey, stop at Preah Dak Village. Enjoy a taste of local life and perhaps sample Nom Banh Chok (traditional rice noodles) or sweet palm cakes.
Overnight in Siem Reap Meal: Breakfast/LunchWe then climb up to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a panoramic view of the city at sunset and the Mekong River. The tour ends after a visit to the famous Night
Market, where you can find a lovely selection of handmade textiles made by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang.
Overnight in Luang Prabang Meal: Breakfast
This morning, embark on cruise boat upstream on the Mekong River, which gives you a panoramic view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. And will be transferred to the airport in time for your departing flight.
