Continue to the Begoña Basilica, a revered pilgrimage site with free entry. In the afternoon, ride the Mount Artxanda Funicular (ticket to be purchase from vending machine) to take in sweeping views over the city. After breakfast, check out and journey towards San Sebastián with a memorable stop in the La Rioja wine region, one of Spain’s most celebrated wine areas. Pause for a leisurely lunch at a traditional restaurant (on your own), perhaps sampling regional specialties paired with Rioja wines. Continue your drive to San Sebastián, a city loved for its golden beaches, Belle Époque charm, and world-class gastronomy. After checking in at your hotel, spend the evening on your own.
