On your way to Fez stop to discover the fabulous Volubilis.

▪ Volubilis has been recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site and gained international acclaim when Martin Scorsese made it as feature location for his film, The Last Temptation of Christ. Begin your visit by discovering the fascinating Roman ruins adorned with beautiful mosaics and colorful tiles depicting Roman mythology. The ruins are spread out across several acres and what remains visible is several fragments of wall, parts of massive columns, the capital, the basilica and a triumphal arch.

▪ Departure to Erfoud via the mountains and the cedar woods of the Middle Atlas, passing by Ifrane, a charming ski resort, and Azrou, an important handicraft center.

▪ Continue to Erfoud via Errachidia and the Ziz valley, dotted with palm trees, source of the yearly festival in Erfoud. Continue to Merzouga camp.

▪ Take the road to Rissani, the holy city where Moulay Ali Cherif, ancestor of the Alaouite dynasty is buried.

▪ Visit of the Kasbah of the 17th century and the Ksar Abbar ruins before continuation to Tinghir via the Tinjdad road. Visit of the magnificent Todgha canyons which rocks reach an altitude of 250m.

▪ Lunch at a restaurant located (not included) the feet of the canyons and departure to the Dades canyons for a visit. Continue to Ouarzazate via the road of the 1000 Kasbahs and the Dades valley, famous for its roses and the yearly Moussem (rose festival).
