Arrive at Srinagar Airport, leave for Pahalgam- the Valley of Shepherds, located along the Lidder River. En route, visit the ancient Avantipura Ruins and Martand Sun Temple. Evening we will have a cozy bonfire session. O/N Pahalgam
After breakfast, explore the snow-covered Betaab Valley and Chandanwadi. Later, drive to Aru Village, one of Kashmir’s most scenic hamlets surrounded by pine forests. O/N Pahalgam.
After breakfast, depart for Gulmarg, “the Meadow of Flowers,” transformed into a magical winter wonderland this season. Check in to your cozy hotel. Evening free to stroll through the snow meadows. O/N Gulmarg
Morning after breakfast, board the famous Gulmarg Gondola- the world’s highest cable car, for panoramic Himalayan views of Mount Apharwat and Nanga Parbat. Enjoy optional snow activities like skiing, sledding, tubing or snow biking (with local guides). O/N Gulmarg
After breakfast, drive back to Srinagar. Check in at your hotel. Later, head out for local sightseeing- visit Nishat Bagh, Chashme Shahi Garden, Pari Mahal and Shankaracharya Temple offering panoramic views of the valley. In the evening, enjoy a sunset Shikara ride on Dal Lake, complete with floating tea stalls, local Kashmiri kahwa, and traditional snacks a picture-perfect Srinagar experience.
If time permits enjoy shopping at Lal Chowk or Polo View Market for authentic Kashmiri handicrafts, pashmina, and dry fruits. O/N Srinagar
After breakfast, set out on a scenic drive towards Sonamarg, the “Meadow of Gold,” surrounded by majestic snow-capped peaks and pine forests. In January, the route itself is a winter wonder with shimmering snowfields and frozen streams along the way. Depending on weather conditions, visit Gagangir village (the last accessible point during peak winter) and enjoy sledding, snow play, or a short pony ride amid the stunning snowy landscape. Return to Srinagar by evening and gather for a special farewell dinner, featuring a traditional Kashmiri Wazwan feast - a perfect finale to your Kashmir journey, filled with laughter, memories, and mountain magic.
